What is wrong with Oil and Gas. I say nothing.

I have working many different fields of work through my young 37 yrs of life. The two some consider in opposition are tree planting, and intrumentation technology in the oil and gas industry in Northern Alberta.
I also studied some physics in University as well as philosophy and so I have put alot of thought into this over the years. We have been constantly bombarded in schools about protecting the environment.
Now lets consider this. Energy is neither created or destroyed. It simply changes form. When I planted trees I learned that we were really only tree farming. For forests to naturally progress, deciduous trees would more naturally replace carniforous. Instead, we sprayed the deciduous trees growing on clear cuts, killing them, to make room for the new carnifourous trees as they were they wood needed to be harvested. Trees burn for fuel in your fireplace and keeps families warm at night and can be used to build houses, hold up power poles, and help bring light to homes in the dark nights in winter. This was in B.C..
In Alberta, I worked three years in the oil and gas industry. We farmed oil and gas. It is a resource that we have available to us and it should be used. Scientists, many who now agree, have only been studying the environment for one hundred years or so. People see exhaust from cars and immeadiatly assume it is bad as we have been trained in school to believe this.
Now, where do Alberta children get these ideas atomatically ingrained in their heads? Well, that part is simple to understand. As I have said before, we have, for years been watching CBC television, where the CRTC censors it and is a government funded organization. The governemnt, as I have noted before in previous posts, has for so long been a liberal governemt primarily elected out of central Canada, where they have huge populations in cites such as toronto. I've been to Toronto, and there is alot of smog. The U.S. has a smog problem, and much of our television comes from there.
It is the Americans who will suffer from global warming. For us, it will just get warmer in winter here. Maybe seems selfish, but I welcome them to move here, it will bring wealth with it and heaven only knows we have the room.
Do you realize that Ontario and Quebec has huge hydro electric power dams. Don't you think they lobby the government? I'm not sure but I bet their are some pretty big salaries given to the Atomic power companies that operate in Ontario. And in the US. Did you know that the huge wind generation farms in the U.S. use up massive amounts of farm land and their are food shortages in the world. Also ethanol feuls use up even more farm lands causing food shortages as well.
It is a competition. That is all it is. Have you ever seen a beaver dam? Thats what they do. It is natural to them. Do you know how many other animals are displaced by these dams. But other animals and fish replace them. It is nature. It is God's will, or whatever you want to call it. And it is good.
